I went to the art store and bought paper clay to cover the styrofoam. There are too many holes in the foam, so it will be easier to paint if I cover it. This is the head partially covered with paper clay, and no eyes. Just sockets.

A close up with eyeballs (still can be taken out). The photo is yellow because of the lighting in the room.

This lighting was bad, so I changed the photo to black and white. When all else fails, PHOTOSHOP!

I spent some time rearranging the eyes to see where I want them. And, oops...the tips of my nose is cracking off. Next, I'll sand the head and cover it in modeling paste to smooth the surface out some. I still need to decide on a body. This project is getting bigger than it was originally intended.

It is getting scary looking! I think her eye balls should be movable... and she should become a marionette... yes a MARIONETTE! YEAH!!! YAY!!!!!

It's looking more like a relative at each step. Kinda scarey.

Good job!

How come I can post on Cathleen's site but not on Andrea's?
